The Narragansett beach-cam is in my favourites, it gives me an idea of what the weather is back in Rhode Island. We always stay at the beach house every time we visit home. My twin sister Sandra Rainaldi has even ,at a certain day and time, stood in it's path so I could see her!

I came to Watch Hill in my late teens to be a nanny for a local family and feel in love with Rhode Island and the east coast in general. I found the beachcam feed in my never ending search for photos of the places I love, now it's one of my favorite sites. I come here a couple of times a week just to bring me back even if only for a moment. Thanks Lila!

I grew up in RI, spent my summers at Pt Judith and always loved looking across at Beavertail. I now live in landlocked Dallas Fort Worth on a 32,000 acre lake. That's 1/3 the size of Narragansett Bay, but even the three foot swells on stormy days don't cut it! I view your site every morning!

We have family and friends in Providence. We have visited them a number of times, we have spent many an hour on Narrangansett Beach. We live in the UK and we often call up the beach cam just remember how it should be.
Love to all XXXX

As a surfer, I use the beachcam almost everyday to check the waves and to decide whether or not to go surfing. Its a great tool.

I live in Bullhead City, Arizona, which is a very hot place to live in the summer, sometimes reaching 120's, refreshing to view the beautiful ocean. I miss it. Thank you for the cool view. Debbie

When we're sitting here in the hot, hot Arizona summer, all we have to do is open the beach cam for a cool, refreshing respite! Thank you for the virtual breath of sea air!

I am originally from Warwick and have family in Wakefield. Currently we are landlocked in Buckeye Country (Ohio!) and your wonderful webcam lets us "visit" for a bit and feel at home. We can almost taste the clamcakes and Awful Awfuls!

We recently visited our beach home along coastal RI. Our permanent residence is in Northern California. On a side trip to Watch Hill to check out the results of the Nor'easter, we recalled your beach cam. We promptly called our west coast family and, with some direction from them watching online, we positioned ourselves in the cams line of sight. Moments later, we were waiving to our family. What a hoot!

As a present resident of Florida, and a 50 year past resident of RI, these beach cams provide me with a sense of comfort. I begin and end each day with looking at the web cams as it makes me feel like I am right there in RI

I lived in RI a few years ago and I miss the scenic drive I took to work (from Wickford to Westerly). I'm back in Florida now, but I hope to return! Until then, I am enjoying the webcams, they are great!

I work and live in Connecticut during the week, but head to my home in the Narragansett pier almost every weekend. When I get "homesick" I love to log on to your web site to see the ocean view from the Narragansett web cam.
Tom Bethany, CT & Narragansett
It brings a slice of home to upstate South Carolina, where the ocean is 3 hours away. My kids are not old enough to remember walking along the seawall in Narragansett on a summer evening or a winter's day. Narragnasett dreaming...
Thanks

Aloha! Thank you for letting me see a bit of home while here in Oahu.

You have improved the Watch Hill cam 100% Thanks
Roy
Thanks so much for your Narraganset Beach webcam - as a diver who lives further north in the state, it gives me a way to check ocean conditions in the southern part of the state without making the 45 minute drive and possibly not being able to dive once I get there and seeing the conditions in person!

I keep a boat on the Pawcatuck River and frequent Watch Hill waters on the weekends, I Love to be able to look at the views on your web cam. Thanks Lila

WOW! I love the beach cam! I live in Colorado now, but visit Narragansett every summer! Now I can "visit" my beach everyday! Thanks so much!

Hello Melanie...
I am a huge fan of your beach cam and I am from British Columbia... I look almost every day to check the weather and surf. (I lived in RI many years ago.)
I have also had a mini family reunion via the cam and cell phone with my sister, my nephew, his wife and my 3 great nieces and nephews... 7 or 8 people in total!
Thanks,
Roy
Hi Catherine….
Love the cam of Narragansett and check it every day several times. I even called a friend in New York City from my cell phone, had him get on line while standing near the wall and gave him a big wave from Rhode Island.
Again, the camera is very enjoyable. I even have friends in Europe that check it out occasionally.
Thanks,

Hi, Melanie,
I just found your new movie surf cam. It's terrific. I love the fact that it's constantly running with a live, real-time image. I live in Connecticut and frequent Narrangansett Town Beach. Your movie surf cam will make it easier to assess surf conditions at the beach before I make the trip all the way from Middletown, Connecticut. And, of course, whenever I hear of someone who needs to look for real estate in Rhode Island, I'll immediately think of Lila Delman Real Estate to refer them to for help! So your new surf cam is also a great advertisement for your company. Keep it up!

Your new web camera is terrific! Having spent well over 25 summers at Narragansett Pier (from the 1940's on) and 4 years at URI, your site brings back many pleasant memories. You must be Lila's daughter ? I remember her.
Thanks,
Steve Brookner
