Hello Folks

Thank you for the providing this service! Great wave viewing this day.

Unfortunate that the Bus has been obstructing the view at Narragnasett all day. It's been parked there since 9:30 am today and it's now 8:36 pm.

Keep up the good IT work.

One time I was in Watch Hill getting out of my car and my bathing suit top got caught on my seat belt and ripped off. 10 minutes later my aunt called asking me if anyone besides myself had seen it. She was watching from the webcam.

I love the beach! You can swim, surf, eat a picnic, and if you're feeling crazy, build a sand castle - oh, how I love the sand between my toes...

My daughter and her family (a cast of thousands I hear) are there this week so I'm trying to find a live cam to actually see the grandkids... very nice site... Thanks.

Love watching the cam, feel That I am there, I enjoy it so much, Spend quite some time on this site.

We love Newport and love going to the beach. This cam allows us to take a mental break when we are unable to get away. Next time we're there we're calling all of our friends and family to bring up this web site and we're going to stand on the stairs and wave to everybody. I wish the camera revolved so you could see the ocean also.

Cynthia Weyl, Ft. Johnson, NY

I view the beachcam several times a week at all different times of the day. I LOVE Newport and Eastons beach. My husband and I visit at least 20 times a year. When I get "beachsick" I tune in to the cam and dream. Thank you so much for providing this to your "wishing we were there" friends.

Wanted to thank you for the cameras at the RI beaches. Can't begin to tell you how very much we enjoy the view. Even my coworkers who are not from RI enjoy it. We will be able to see the trees turn color this year ( for the first time in 23 years) because of the scenery at the Narragansett site. We all look for the Block Island boat and cheer when we see it coming in and wave when it's going out. I know we all sound crazy, but it has become such a fun part of our work day. We can't thank you enough for the pleasure.

Vik, Greg and Steve, you guys are my heros. One day i hope i can be half as cool as the least cool one of you guys...that would be Vik...or maybe Steve because he is the sponge king.

Tyler "Trying To Be Cool" Garceau

I knew that there were waves but didnt know if I wanted to ride my 6' 1" fish or my 7' 2" rounded pin so I checked the cam and saw it was HUGE and decided to sponge instead.

Vic "Way Too Big" Joganow

I rip, I rip, I rip!!! Who has time to surf with all this ripping going on?

Greg "The Ripper" Levy

I had the day off and thought I was going to go ride some knee high beach break but then checked out the surf cam and it was well overhead. THANKS SURF CAM!!!

Your Watch Hill Beach Cam is the best advertisement anyone would ever need to convince anyone to settle in RI! Thanks for a reminder of our annual summer sojourn to paradise....Retirement can't arrive soon enough!

Hey Sheila from Steamboat! Springs, CO... I also miss the smell of the ocean, Del's, Coffee Syrup and fried clams. We surfed in Narragansett last August and had a blast. Thanks for the update Live Beach Cam. Look forward to surfing again this summer. We wake surf behind our boat on our lake and its awesome but can't wait to get back to RI

Sara from Steamboat Springs CO

Hello,
We lived across from the town beach in your webcam view for years; i.e., you show our home's old beach-view. We've moved up the road to NK and sorely miss Narragansett... I check up on the old neighborhood thru your webcam!
Thanks!

Rich/North Kingstown RI

Landlocked in Colorado for 25 years, I long for the summer days in RI. Checking the beach cam makes me feel like I am back there strolling the beach, eating Dels, taking in the smell of the ocean-even for a fleeing moment. Thanks for the beach cam. Any time I get homesick, RI is just a click away.

I also grew up in RI and now live in Atlanta and check into the beach cams. I miss the ocean soooo much. We used to take our children to Aunt Carries for the homemade cinnamon bread and clamcakes and sit by the water to feed the seagulls. I check this cam to watch the amazing sunsets that I used to love by the water.

As a native Rhode Islander, growing up spending each summer on Narragansett Beaches, while drinking Del's Lemonade, eating Aunt Carrie's clam cakes and smothering those amazing french fries with salt and vinegar, these webcams transport me back to Little Rhody in a flash ... thanks for the memories!

I check into the Narragansett Beach cam at least twice a week to see how many people are strolling the beach or are in the water. And I always check the weather and the sky and the waves. I left Rhode Island, (Peace Dale) three years ago and I can't get Narragansett Beach, the sea wall, the smells,
the sea sounds out of my mind. Thank you for the gift of the beach cam.

Catherine Claytor, Ann Arbor, MI

When I was trying to convince my boyfriend to move to RI, I went down to the beach, called him from my cell phone and told him about the beach cam. We opened our law firm together 5 1/2 years ago in East Greenwich and still check the beach cam!

The Narragansett beach-cam is in my favourites, it gives me an idea of what the weather is back in Rhode Island. We always stay at the beach house every time we visit home. My twin sister Sandra Rainaldi has even ,at a certain day and time, stood in it's path so I could see her!

Donna Steel Coventry, England

I came to Watch Hill in my late teens to be a nanny for a local family and feel in love with Rhode Island and the east coast in general. I found the beachcam feed in my never ending search for photos of the places I love, now it's one of my favorite sites. I come here a couple of times a week just to bring me back even if only for a moment. Thanks Lila!

Alison, Upper Peninsula, MI

I grew up in RI, spent my summers at Pt Judith and always loved looking across at Beavertail. I now live in landlocked Dallas Fort Worth on a 32,000 acre lake. That's 1/3 the size of Narragansett Bay, but even the three foot swells on stormy days don't cut it! I view your site every morning!

We have family and friends in Providence. We have visited them a number of times, we have spent many an hour on Narrangansett Beach. We live in the UK and we often call up the beach cam just remember how it should be.

Love to all XXXX

As a surfer, I use the beachcam almost everyday to check the waves and to decide whether or not to go surfing. Its a great tool.

I live in Bullhead City, Arizona, which is a very hot place to live in the summer, sometimes reaching 120's, refreshing to view the beautiful ocean. I miss it. Thank you for the cool view. Debbie

Debbie Johnson, Bullhead City, Arizona, 5 minutes from the beautiful Colorado River which is the only respite we have from the heat.

When we're sitting here in the hot, hot Arizona summer, all we have to do is open the beach cam for a cool, refreshing respite! Thank you for the virtual breath of sea air!

I am originally from Warwick and have family in Wakefield. Currently we are landlocked in Buckeye Country (Ohio!) and your wonderful webcam lets us "visit" for a bit and feel at home. We can almost taste the clamcakes and Awful Awfuls!

We recently visited our beach home along coastal RI. Our permanent residence is in Northern California. On a side trip to Watch Hill to check out the results of the Nor'easter, we recalled your beach cam. We promptly called our west coast family and, with some direction from them watching online, we positioned ourselves in the cams line of sight. Moments later, we were waiving to our family.
What a hoot!

As a present resident of Florida, and a 50 year past resident of RI, these beach cams provide me with a sense of comfort. I begin and end each day with looking at the web cams as it makes me feel like I am right there in RI

I lived in RI a few years ago and I miss the scenic drive I took to work (from Wickford to Westerly). I'm back in Florida now, but I hope to return! Until then, I am enjoying the webcams, they are great!

I work and live in Connecticut during the week, but head to my home in the Narragansett pier almost every weekend. When I get "homesick" I love to log on to your web site to see the ocean view from the Narragansett web cam.

It brings a slice of home to upstate South Carolina, where the ocean is 3 hours away. My kids are not old enough to remember walking along the seawall in Narragansett on a summer evening or a winter's day. Narragnasett dreaming...

Thanks

You have improved the Watch Hill cam 100% Thanks

Thanks so much for your Narraganset Beach webcam - as a diver who lives further north in the state, it gives me a way to check ocean conditions in the southern part of the state without making the 45 minute drive and possibly not being able to dive once I get there and seeing the conditions in person!

I keep a boat on the Pawcatuck River and frequent Watch Hill waters on the weekends, I Love to be able to look at the views on your web cam. Thanks Lila

WOW! I love the beach cam! I live in Colorado now, but visit Narragansett every summer! Now I can "visit" my beach everyday! Thanks so much!

Hello Melanie...

I am a huge fan of your beach cam and I am from British Columbia... I look almost every day to check the weather and surf. (I lived in RI many years ago.)

I have also had a mini family reunion via the cam and cell phone with my sister, my nephew, his wife and my 3 great nieces and nephews... 7 or 8 people in total!

Thanks,

Roy

Hi Catherine….

Love the cam of Narragansett and check it every day several times. I even called a friend in New York City from my cell phone, had him get on line while standing near the wall and gave him a big wave from Rhode Island.

Again, the camera is very enjoyable. I even have friends in Europe that check it out occasionally.

Thanks,

Hi, Melanie,

I just found your new movie surf cam. It's terrific. I love the fact that it's constantly running with a live, real-time image. I live in Connecticut and frequent Narrangansett Town Beach. Your movie surf cam
will make it easier to assess surf conditions at the beach before I make the trip all the way from Middletown, Connecticut. And, of course, whenever I hear of someone who needs to look for real estate in Rhode Island, I'll immediately think of Lila Delman Real Estate to refer them to for help! So your new surf cam is also a great advertisement for your company. Keep it up!

Bob Dutcher

Your new web camera is terrific! Having spent well over 25 summers at Narragansett Pier (from the 1940's on) and 4 years at URI, your site brings back many pleasant memories. You must be Lila's daughter ? I remember her.

Thanks,

Steve Brookner
