NARRAGANSETT – Lila Delman Real Estate is honored and pleased to announce the recent accomplishments of Liz Taber, a residential sales agent in their Newport office.  Along with her responsibilities as an agent, Liz has been named to the Rhode Island MLS (Multiple Listing Service) Board of Directors for 2006.  She was sworn in during the RI Association of Realtors Annual Business Day on October 6, 2005.  The MLS Board serves to empower, support and educate Realtors by providing cutting edge systems and resources that best serve Realtors and their customers.

Liz has also taken on the role of Chairman of Realtors’ Political Action Committee (RPAC) for 2005 and 2006.  This important agency is under the direction of the National Association of Realtors.  RPAC focuses lobbying efforts on important initiatives that affect the Real Estate Business on the federal level, such as the role of Banks in Real Estate industry, homeownership rights, and fair practices in Lending, as well as more local concerns such as the new Lead and Fire Code laws.  For the second consecutive year, Liz will lead the fundraising efforts of the group in Newport County.  

Liz also serves as Educational Chairman for the Women’s Council of Realtors.
