Architecturally design with inspiration from Frank Loyd Wright, it was designed to blend into the tropical north Queensland lifestyle, cooling the warm tropical climate by capturing the cool sea breezes via the extensive use of "sliding glass walls" and endless large terraces opening the house up and allow the inside to flow out across the swimming pool and into the Coral Sea. The Hafelle glass sliding walls have been used to the entire length of the house living areas opening onto the large and wide covered terraces, so that when open there is no division between the inside and outside and with the swimming pool surrounding the house there appears to be direct connection to the Coral Sea beyond, The doors have been designed and have the option to be fully automated and can be controlled via the home intelligent CBus system. The extensive use Stone imported from New Zealand, the Alpolic futuristic fascias and the modern contemporary finishes allow the House to blend into the environment with a style of Architecture and Design that can never date and will always be admired!

Features such as direct access to the private marina is from the formal end of the terrace, only a few steps down and through the tropical garden to a private floating dock where a protected 22 metre berth is attached, the floating dock has three phase power, water, security and lighting all connected to the house CBus and security system and at the top of the gangway is a boat storage shed and is cleverly hidden away into the garden. There is access to the private and convenient Heli Pad via a pathway beside the Marina wall, making the arrival via Helicopter an impressive experience for any Visitor.

At the opposite end of the house is the casual living room, from here a boardwalk extends down to a sandy beach and the "Tepanyaki" barbeque building (see Tepanyaki building) that is fully equipped with Kitchen, Powder room and Tepanyaki dining area where private and unique entertaining can be catered for.

A timber boardwalk surrounds the property along the waters edge and connects to the Caretakers Residence, Gymnasium, and Office it is also located beside the Driveway entry gate (see Caretakers Residence).

Located on the second level, the Caretakers residence is a luxury fully self contained one bedroom residence, with private terrace. Below is the Gymnasium, Office  complete with Bathroom and an archives room, very easily converted to a further residence for staff or private Guest house.

Car parking on site is via a double garage located at the main house and a three car garage at the Caretakers house.

Air-conditioning, to each bedroom is independently air-conditioned and climate controlled through ducted reverse cycle Daikin inverter systems, heated. The main open living areas are controlled via three ducted Daikin inverter systems, zone controlled to the Formal area, Kitchen area, and Casual area and all with heat reverse cycle. The Wine Cellar is independently climate controlled. Cinema room is independently controlled via a Daikin inverter system again with reverse cycle heat.

Master Bedroom suite is ducted via Daikin reverse cycle with heat and the Dressing room is independently controlled via a Daikin reverse cycle.

CBus intelligent,  home wiring and control has been used throughout, each room, light and security are all controlled via a central touch screen located at the Kitchen pantry door. Total control is given to themed lighting layouts, security features, censors, garden watering, operation of electronic devices and sound systems etc via this system. The Cbus interfaces with all other buildings within the property.

Security system

A fully integrated security system has been installed, 6 monitor cameras surround the property and down to the marina, censors are provided to all doors, motion censors to all areas overlap and "duress" buttons installed to each bedroom. Smoke detectors interface with the security system and the Electronic locking entry and access doors. The system is expendable to any configuration.

Door Locking system

Keyless locks have been used for all entry and common access doors, these locks are integrated to the security system and front gate, tamper monitoring is active.

Sound Entertainment systems, Bose sound system are used through out the Residence, each overlapping and integrating with the selected zones.
