Built by Lord Edgecombe of Devon, England in the late 1700’s, in a picturesque, sheltered yet elevated location on the western coast of Grenada this historic and colorful estate enjoys cool sea breezes, overlooks verdant botanical gardens and orchards to the sparkling waters of the Caribbean below.

The Plantation maintains specimen trees, many traditional varieties of crops and fruits as well as exotic flowers and spices that are either indigenous to the Island or that were introduced by planters in the 1700’s and 1800’s. As such, it is both a showcase and a working plantation, ensuring that these varieties are protected for future generations to enjoy.
