The company is now run by Melanie Delman and John Hodnett. Melanie is a second generation real estate executive who took over the helm in 1988 from Lila, her mother. Melanie is well recognized as an expert in the area of luxury brokerage and has personally participated in a substantial portion of Rhode Island’s record setting sales.

John joined the company in 1991 and is now the principal broker of the firm. John graduated summa cum laude with a BS from Northeastern University and earned his MBA from Columbia University with Beta Gamma Sigma honor society distinction. John previously worked as a CPA and as a securities analyst, gaining extensive experience that he puts to use on a daily basis. John has also been recognized consistently as a multi-million dollar producer.

With John and Melanie's guidance, the company has grown dramatically. Lila Delman Real Estate now has four offices: Watch Hill, Narragansett, Jamestown and Newport.
